Some things to think about from this week's sermon

Don't forget to pick up a children's sermon note sheet by the check in kiosk!

Tomorrow's message (11/16) is entitled "Redeeming Love" and it is from 1st Samuel 18, 19 and Psalm 59.

Here are some good talking points for you talk through with your kids.

Have you ever been bullied or mistreated by someone?
The amazing good news is that in Christ you can overcome!

The good news is not that you will never experience any bad things in the future.
The good news is that these bad things are not who you are.  They do not define you.

God has a redemptive plan for our good and His glory.

David is a king on the way up.  David was content to wait upon the Lord!
Talk about what does it mean to be content!

Saul is a king on the way down.

God protects and delivers David from Saul’s evil intentions.
David deals with abuse, mistreatment and betrayal of someone he respected and loved.

Psalm 59
How do you deal with abuse, mistreatment and betrayal of someone you love?
David called out to God for deliverance.
David had a spirit of forgiveness.
David meditated on the righteous work and character of God.  What does it mean to meditate?
