Our Curriculum: What makes Generations of Grace unique?

"Generations of Grace has God as its focus from beginning to end.  Throughout each lesson, students learn about God’s character and see His work in the lives of men and women of Scripture.  The principles learned are then applied to the children’s lives.  We want our children to know God, love Him, and serve Him with their lives."
from the www.generationsofgrace.com

Here is the bottom line.  We want our Bible teaching to begin with God.
We want to teach children BIG truths they grow into!!

If you have any questions about our children's disciplemaking plan, please email children@emmanuelbaptist.com

Israel rejects God’s prophet and priest

Passage:  Numbers 16

Principle:  We should obey and respect the leadership that God has established.

Praise:  “Humble Thyself in the Sight of the Lord”

Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
• What were the names of the men who did not trust God’s choice of leadership in
Moses?
• How did God punish Korah, Dathan, and Abiram?
• Why did the people complain?
• Who interceded for the sins of the people?

Practice:  Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
• By valuing the leadership God has put in his life.
• By not blaming leaders in difficult times.
• By learning from the Lord’s discipline.

Memory verse:
4 years old through kindergarten:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, (Proverbs 3:5a).
“Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves” (Romans 13:2).

Missionary:  Nate and Cherith Logan

Ministry:  Emmanuel Christian School and other schools.
