This page is designed to help teachers, especially new teachers, better understand the curriculum and resources for teaching.

NECESSARY INFO AND RESOURCES:
  • In class resources
    • Teacher note in each classroom with weekly, specific information for the teachers to know and in some cases share with the class.
    • EKIDZ take home pages to be sent home with each child.
  • Lesson schedule
    • One schedule is posted in each classroom.
    • A stack of schedules are in the teacher resource room.

  • Bible Memory Verses
    • The weekly Bible memory are NOT the ones in the curriculum books.
    • The weekly Bible memory are on the lesson schedule (see above) and are connected with the church wide Fighter Verses.
    • The preferred translation for verses is the ESV.
  • ekidzministry.com videos
    • Each week a video from Faith Church in Lafayette, IN is posted on this site.  The video has some specific ideas for that week's lessons.

  • Monthly prayer time.
    • Usually on the first Sunday of the month we meet in the EKIDZ teacher resource room for prayer at 8:45 and 10:15.  This is about 5 minutes long.
