This Sunday was not your ordinary Sunday in our children's wing,
and I am talking about more than that crazy snow!
Here is what two class did a little different this morning.
During the 9:00 hour, the kindergarten class had a Baby Shower.
They played some baby shower games.
Each child received a "It's a Boy" rattle and the room was decorated with baby blue decorations.
Why?
Today's lesson was "God sends Baby Isaac."
What better to celebrate God sending a baby than having a baby shower.
During the 10:30 service time, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders watched
the Torchlighter's DVD on the life of Jim Elliot.
You can see a clip from the video and find several other resources at
at the Torchlighter's site
Friday, January 8, was the 60th anniversary of the death of Jim and 4 other missionaries.

Remember,
God is faithful to His promises
So you can expect Him to do what says!
Check back tomorrow and throughout the week.
