A teacher note that I wanted to share with you parents.
This is part of the teacher note on 02.17.13:
This is a picture of Jadyn’s craft this past week (02.10). I am very thankful for projects like this that serve as simple prayer and story reminders.
In the second hour 1st through 5th grade class we did a prayer activity after the story. You can read about the family tree pray assignment @ ekidzministry.blogspot.com
I have shared this many times and I will share it many more times. Parents need to be discipling their children and we need to help them do that.
THANK YOU very much for the part you have had in this ministry during this quarter.
TWO OF THE BIG QUESTIONS I THINK ABOUT EACH WEEK ARE:
WHAT HAVE THE KIDS LEARNED ABOUT GOD?
WHAT CAN THE KIDS SHARE WITH THEIR FAMILY THIS WEEK?

God delivers Joseph

Date: 02.17
Title: God Delivers Joseph
Passage: Genesis 39–50
Principle: God is in control of every circumstance.
Praise: “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
· How did God help Joseph while he was in Egypt?
· Whose dreams did Joseph interpret?
· What position did Pharaoh give Joseph?
· Who came to Egypt to buy food?
· Did Joseph forgive his brothers?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
· By trusting God even when people do evil things.
· By being faithful and obedient to God during difficult times.
· By forgiving others.
Memory verse:
2 year olds through kindergarten: Psalm 86:7a
In the day of my trouble I will call upon you,
1st through 5th grade: Genesis 50:20
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
Missionary: The Vermilyea family in Quebec
Ministry: Shepherd’s Ministry
Activity: Plan to come to the family movie night at the church.
